OUR STORY
In an increasingly digital world, Tailored Stories was born with a simple yet powerful formula: to return to children the magic of the tangible—through clothing, play, and literature.
What began in 2021 with prototypes, hand-stitched dolls, and printed tales soon became a journey of innovation and purpose. Step by step, we brought together voices, hands, and talents: seamstresses, illustrators, storytellers, and musicians who found in this project both meaningful work and a space to create.
Today, our garments are far more than children’s fashion—they are stories to be worn. Each piece carries original illustrations, a hidden doll in its pocket, and a QR code that unlocks narrated and musical tales. This way, children don’t just get dressed—they read, play, and dream with every stitch.
Thanks to our partnership with Maravillarte SAS, we are able to print directly on natural fabric with sustainable inks, each illustration is printed alongside the cutting pattern, making every garment unique, precise, and faithful to the original design.
Tailored Stories is not just a brand—it’s an entirely new narrative format that brings together three worlds—toys, books, and fashion—into one product. A sustainable model that redefines how stories are told while creating opportunities for women heads of household, illustrators, and creatives from diverse disciplines.

Our project was born in Colombia with a clear purpose: to inspire children to dream while creating dignified jobs for women and communities who find in sewing a source of stability and well-being. With every stitch, we weave not only garments, but also stories that accompany little ones and transform lives.

aLyda Estrada, a talented illustrator, Lyda not only created the logo for the company but also its universe—stands, pop-up stores, packaging, and every little detail that makes Tailored Stories so special.
