In the field, the apple trees bloom with grace,
Their colors like the hues on your dress’s embrace.
Sweet-tooth ear Bear’s eyes light up in the sunny space,
Surely, it’s time to enjoy the apple’s tasty chase.
Quickly, he fetches his basket, a hearty flair,
To gather those apples, sweet and fair.
Once, he overheard a piece of wisdom rare,
“One apple each morning, a healthy life to bear.”
He dreamt that if he consumed plenty each day,
Sickness would never come his way.
Grandma Rose found her sweet, greedy kin,
Cheeks rosy and sweat on his skin.
More than ten apples he had devoured,
All because of that phrase he felt empowered.
“Oh, my child, it’s quite an exaggeration!
So many apples can lead to constipation.
If you wished to stay healthy, my dear,
One’s sufficient, no need to overbear.”
“Oh, Grandma, the lesson I’ve learned!
Eating so many made me feel quite astray.
From now on, I’ll be more careful,
I ‘ll take only one apple a day,
For sure this will be enough to keep illness away.
